What questions should I ask event vendors before booking?
Ask about availability, exactly what's included, setup and breakdown, deposits and cancellation terms, and get everything in writing.
Good starting questions: Are you available on my date? What exactly is included in the price? When do you arrive and how long does setup take? Who will be there on the day?
Then cover the money side: deposit amount, payment schedule, extra fees and the cancellation or rescheduling policy.
